The Political Economy in the Chicago Area (PECA) conference is established as an annual event with a goal of strengthening the political economy community and encouraging collaboration across political economy research groups. The conference leverages the strong concentration of political economy scholars spanning business schools, law school, policy schools, political science, and economics departments in the Chicago area. The conference is open to rigorous theoretical, empirical, and experimental work in the field of political economy.
This is a one-day conference that is sponsored by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business’ Initiative on Global Markets, University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy’s Center for Policy Entrepreneurship, and by the Ford Motor Company for Global Citizenship at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Attendance at the USMPF conference is by invitation only.
