2014 US Monetary Policy Forum

February 28, 2014 – New York, New York

This annual conference brings together academics, market economists and policy makers. The conference is sponsored by the Initiative on Global Markets at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Attendance at the USMPF conference is by invitation only.


The conference began with this year's report "Market Tantrums and Monetary Policy," written by Michael Feroli (JP Morgan Chase), Anil Kashyap (Chicago Booth), Kim Schoenholtz (NYU) and Hyun Song Shin (Princeton).

The conference will conclude with a panel discussion on communications strategies in a world of unconventional monetary policy and will include:
