Conference on the Financial Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Journal of Finance and the Fama-Miller Center at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business are organizing a conference on the financial consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will be held by video conference in five daily two-hour sessions from 10 am to noon CDT on October 12 to 16, 2020.

The goal of this conference is to bring together economists from academia and policy-making institutions to discuss research papers that shed light on the economic effects of the pandemic on corporate, household, financial, and government sectors and on the policy responses to the crisis. All editors of the Journal of Finance will be present at the conference.
