As a Chicago Booth Scholar, you’ll apply for admission during your final year of college. Then you’ll work for two to five years before starting the Full-Time MBA Program or Evening and Weekend MBA Programs at Booth. During the deferment period, you’ll have full access to Booth resources and events, specialized deferred scholar programming, and to our vast network of business professionals.
Booth’s MBA deferred admission program welcomes applicants from all undergraduate institutions, with any undergraduate majors, and with a wide array of backgrounds and interests. Successful applicants demonstrate intellectual curiosity, personal maturity, competitive scores, and leadership. They also have a history of substantive internships or part-time jobs and/or an entrepreneurial spirit.
