Research Labs

Faculty, students, and associates of the Center for Decision Research are always engaged in numerous studies investigating how people form judgments and make decisions. Many of these studies take place in our private research facilities, the Campus Lab, in the Charles M. Harper Center on the Hyde Park Campus, and the Downtown Lab, in the Clark Adams Building in the Chicago Loop.

People interested in participating in our research, and with CDR researchers interested in running studies at the labs can contact the labs for more information.

Welcome to the Center for Decision Research

The Center for Decision Research is devoted to the study of how individuals form judgments and make decisions. Researchers at the center examine the processes by which intuition, reasoning, and social interaction produce beliefs, judgments, and choices. Understanding how and why people make decisions has important applications in a range of contexts, including management, marketing, finance, and public policy.
