Price Theory Summer Camp

In 2007, the Price Theory Summer Camp was created to introduce PhD students from outside the University of Chicago to price theory, which emphasizes the application of basic economic tools to applied problems. This intensive one-week program consisted of lectures by Becker Center faculty and fellows, workshops on problem sets, and a series of “Chicago-style” seminars featuring the research in progress of University of Chicago faculty. The program is geared toward PhD students in economics who have completed their third or fourth year of study, but applications are accepted from PhD candidates of all levels.
