Price Theory Summer Camp - 2009

3rd Annual University of Chicago Price Theory Summer Camp

The Becker Center on Chicago Price Theory Founded by Richard O. Ryan, '66, hosted an intensive, one-week program to introduce PhD. students from outside the University of Chicago to Chicago-style price theory, which emphasizes the application of basic economic tools to applied problems.

The summer program consisted of lectures by Gary Becker, Kevin Murphy, and Steve Levitt, as well as opportunities to interact with the faculty and discuss your own research.

The program ran between June 21 - 26, 2009. Participants received meals and housing on the University of Chicago campus and a stipend for travel expenses.
