Kilts Mentoring Program
Founded by the generosity of Karen L. Katen, AB '70, MBA '74, the Kilts Mentoring Program pairs students interested in a marketing career with distinguished Chicago Booth alumni well-established in the industry.
Serving participants from the Full-Time, Evening MBA, and Weekend MBA programs, mentorships help students gain professional wisdom, perspective on their targeted industries, and an unparalleled opportunity to develop their professional network.
The Kilts Mentoring program is co-sponsored by the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development, the student Marketing Group, and the Booth Marketing Club.

Program Details
- First year Full-Time students and all Evening, and Weekend MBA students are eligible to apply in October of each year.
- Students must join the student marketing group (Full-Time Marketing Group or Evening and Weekend Booth Marketing Club) to participate.
- Matching takes place November of each year.
- The program begins in January of each year and runs through September.
- We encourage pairs to connect for about one hour once a month by phone or in person.
- Students should not expect a mentor with recruiting help at thee mentor's company. The program is not intended for job prospecting.
We accept student applications in October.
The deadline to apply for the 2013 program is November 1, 2012.
