This inaugural, invitation-only conference brought together a distinguished group of academic researchers and practitioners who are pioneering the field of marketing data. Seeking to generate insights valuable to researchers, retailers, and consumers, presentations featured members of the Chicago Booth faculty and corporate partners from Nielsen, McKinsey & Co., Walgreens, and Kimberly-Clark. Speakers highlighted how the partnership between Chicago Booth’s Kilts Center for Marketing and Nielsen has helped draw attention to the questions and topics that these rich datasets can help uncover.
